What is Thermography?

Thermography uses digital thermal imaging to screen for early changes in the breasts by creating a heat map of the upper torso. Thermography is a simple, non-contact, pain and radiation free screening procedure appropriate for women of all ages. It does not replace other breast health evaluation tools but complements them. When unusual heat patterns or changes over time are noted on a thermogram, additional testing, lifestyle changes and/or working with other health care providers may be recommended based on the doctor's report.

Because we know sometimes people are more comfortable trying something new in a familiar location, we are offering this opportunity to our clients to schedule with Tanya and receive their thermogram at Soteria.
